One to one lessons are designed around you and your dogs needs. An ideal way to introduce training to a new puppy or adult dog and to work towards specific training goals such as; loose lead walking or recall training. . These sessions are not appropriate for dogs displaying behaviour problems.

All training takes place in one of the locations below. Other times are available including some Saturdays. If you would like to meet in another location please get in touch before booking.

An opportunity to discuss problems or training goals, to receive advice and a written outline of any recommended training. Provide me with videos in advance and I'll be happy to look through them and offer my advice.

Training is important for your new puppy, at this young age behaviours change very quickly, learning new behaviours can be fun for you both but bad habits can develop just as quickly. A telephone consultation can be taken before or after you get your puppy to ensure that you are on the right track with house training and know how to cope with puppy biting. A written plan will be included along with video links where appropriate.

An online lesson allows me to work with you and your dog in your home without the distraction of being there. I will demonstrate training with my own dogs. Ideal for a very nervous or over excited dog. A recording of the lesson and written training plan are included.

A 6 week course aiming to introduce you and your new puppy to the basics of training. With fun games and activities to build bonds and confidence. Preparing your puppy for a long and happy life with you. The class will run indoors at Mapplebrough Green Village Hall, Suitable for puppies 20 weeks and under. Enrolment includes lifetime access to Lakeside Puppy Club Facebook Group and 21 Skills to teach your puppy.

Come along to practice and progress your scentwork skills. Under the expert eye of scentwork trainer Sharon you will develop your skills and complete new challenges. Suitable for all dogs, no experience necessary.

Spaniels are bred to be interested in the environment, they can be stimulated by movement or by smells. When their nose goes down their ears often switch off. This workshop will teach you games and training to help build connection so that you become the focus of your dogs walk, so that you can have fun together both on lead and off. Suitable for spaniels, cross breeds or any other dog friendly dogs.

This workshop will run outdoors at Webb's garden centre in Wychbold. Dates may be subject to change.

Teaching a dog to walk on a loose lead is one of the hardest skills for you both to achieve, teaching a dog that is lead by their nose, bred to be persistent and to push through thick cover can be even harder. Spaniel loose lead walking is always a challenge for them and for us. This workshop will introduce some skills to help you both enjoy your walks together.
